A web interface for the LaMa inpainting model which uses Fourier Convolutions to tidy up photos by synthesizing backgrounds in a secure, stateless environment. Mostly I did this as an excersize for myself in how to set up a server and serve a website.

Upload any audio file and this tool runs a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to extract the frequencies, snaps them to the closest musical notes, and renders a video using Alexander Scriabin's historical synesthetic color palette.

I'm doing a master's in environment and natural ressources and I want to put some of the stuff I do for that here. Otherwise I feel like it's a waste of time because there's no way anybody will actually read my thesis. But maybe if I put some of the stuff I develop on this website, people will actually use it.
Anyways, my thesis is about habitat fragmentation and population structure of Euphydryas aurinia in Eastern Switzerland. It's a mix of genomics and geoinformatics called landscape genomics. The main thing I'm evaluating are the different methods for calculating resistance surfaces (how hard is it for butterflies to travel across landscapes) rather than relying on manual expert opinion to inform conservation decisions.
